Vacha is also known as a sweet flag. Due to the presence of carminative (agent expel out gas from the stomach) and digestive stimulant action, it is used in the treatment of dyspepsia (indigestion), flatulence, and acidity.

Malayvacha (kulanja) can stimulate the digestive system and due to its carminative activity, it used in the treatment of digestive disease.

Bhunimbh is also called as kalmegh. It contains laxative action that is helpful for the movement of bowel due to which it is helpful in the treatment of constipation.
