Product Description

Nilavarai Chooranam is a traditional natural medicine prepared with nilavarai leaves and some herbal ingredients. Nilavarai contains a powerful laxative effect, so it helps to relieve constipation, which affects 16% to 33% of adults. It is also known as Senna, and it contains compounds sennosides that stimulate the muscle contractions in the intestines. Nilavagai Chooranam is mainly used to treat Intestinal worm infestation in children and adults.

Dosage, Side effects, and Storage:

1 – 2 gms with lukewarm water after food twice a day or as directed by the physician. For constipation, it is preferable at bedtime.

If you have constipation, only then you can take it with hot water. You can continue for 10 days or a maximum of 45 days (one mandalam). Beyond that, there should be a gap of 10 days. You can consume more curd/buttermilk/yogurt to reverse the normal intestinal microflora.

If you want to have a mild laxative, you can consume the ‘Thiripala Choornana tablet’.

There are no known side effects of this product.
