Himalaya Styplon Tablets is an ayurvedic and herbal preparation. Styplon Tablets is manufactured by Himalaya Drug Company. It is available in tablet form which is to be taken orally.

Styplon Tablets is mainly prescribed as the styptic (stops wound bleeding) for the indication such as gums bleeding, epistaxis (nosebleed), bleeding piles, hematuria (blood in urine). It is used as a hemostatic (an agent stop bleeding in the injury of the blood vessel) as well as the vasoconstrictor (contraction of blood vessels). Thus, controls blood coagulation at local sites, and reduces blood circulation to the capillaries. It is used as the demulcent (an agent treats mucous inflammation of mouth) and enriched with mucilage, hence, soothes the wound inflammation, and irritation. It is also recommended as an antioxidant (decreases oxidative stress). Therefore, it prevents the oxidative damage to local tissues. It is also recommended for the bleeding condition such as uterine bleeding, post intrauterine contraceptive device (IUCD) bleeding, and vaginal bleeding. It is also used as an adjuvant for the hemoptysis (coughing up the blood). 

It contains Indian gooseberry (amalaki), red coral (pravala pishti), Indian sarsaparilla (anantamul), and lodh tree (Lodhra) as the key ingredients. Here are the health benefits of each of these:
