It is given in cough with honey ,in constipation, with hot water and in conjunctivitis, its decoction is used to wash the eyes periodically,a decoction of this chooranumis used to wash, and clean wounds and ulcers, further this can be used for gargling purpose also. it allays the sverity of the diabetes mellitus. used as a general tonic espescially for eyes with equal quantities of honey or ghee.

DOSAGE AND ADJUVANTS ; 1-3 gms with water, honey ,ghee,2-3 times a day after food ,can also used externally for washing.
